Join book conservator, Cara Schlesinger, as she takes us through the art of book repair. This is only one of the important components in the practice of book preservation.
We will be discussing the best practices in book preservation, including proper handling, environmental monitoring and protective housing. A demonstration will follow on what to do with bumped corners, torn or detached pages, spine detachment, loose joints and much more.
