Teens

The Daniel Pierce Library’s Teen Reading Room houses nearly 1,000 young adult titles, as well as a game area, computer terminals, and comfortable seating. It’s the perfect space for young people to read, relax, do research, or simply enjoy a game of checkers with a friend.

Teen library programming includes Summer Reading Initiatives, “Battle of the Books,” and various programs including cooking and art classes.

Many of our teens complete service hours required by their school or community and religious organizations by volunteering at the Annual Giant Pumpkin Party or various Summer Reading Program events.
