Alchemy Poets—Are you or someone you know an aspiring writer? Don’t be shy! The Alchemy Poets meet third Thursday of each month at 1 p.m. to share and discuss one another's poetry.
Cathy’s Home Cooking on a Budget— Food always brings people together! Whether you are a novice in the kitchen or an experienced cook, Cathy’s Home Cooking on a Budget offers a fun-filled culinary experience for all! The fourth Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Community Room.
DPL Painters— Pictures are built of marks and everyone can make them! DPL Painters is an evening of discovery for beginners and experienced artists the second Thursday of each month with instructor, Helena Clare Pittman. Each evening of art-making begins with a discussion of an
artist's work and its place in art history. Helena then offers a project and medium to work with, as well as guidance in the creative process.
First Friday Book Discussion Group—Are you up for a good read? Interested in exploring the themes of literary works in a relaxed atmosphere? The First Friday Book Discussion Group meets the first Friday of every month at 1p.m.
Rosemary’s Knitting Club— Rosemary Mierop, one of our star volunteers, shares her knitting expertise with beginners and experienced knitters alike on Thursday evenings from 7-8:30 p.m.
Studio Monday Artists— Bring your brushes, bring your paints! And join an amenable group of aspiring artists in an encouraging environment. The Studio Monday artists gather in the Community Room weekly, Monday mornings from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
